Creative Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a Creative Ads Strategist & Web Designer who specializes in developing performance-driven creative for ecommerce brands. This role is centered on creative strategy, visual communication, and conversion-focused UX/UI, with a strong emphasis on understanding how creative impacts ecommerce performance.

You will conceptualize, design, test, and optimize ads and website experiences that directly improve ROAS, AOV, CVR, and overall funnel performance. This is not a media buying role—you’ll focus on creating high-impact creative and landing experiences that make paid traffic convert.


Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Ad Development

  • Develop ad concepts, visual directions, and creative frameworks for ecommerce campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, and other platforms (no media buying required).
  • Break down winning ads to identify psychological triggers, messaging angles, formats, and structures that drive high performance.
  • Produce and guide the creation of static, motion, and video ad concepts tailored for ecommerce audiences and funnel stages.
  • Build creative testing methodologies to validate ideas and iterate based on results.

Conversion-Focused Web & Landing Page Design

  • Design high-converting ecommerce websites, landing pages, PDPs, and funnels in Figma.
  • Apply UX best practices, persuasive design, and conversion psychology to optimize user flow and purchase behavior.
  • Use heatmaps, behavioral analytics, and A/B test insights (Hotjar, Clarity, Crazy Egg) to improve user engagement and reduce friction.

Data-Driven Creative Optimization

  • Review performance data (CTR, CVR, AOV, Bounce Rate, ROAS) to uncover opportunities for creative improvement.
  • Translate data into insights that refine ad concepts, messaging, visual hierarchy, and landing page experiences.
  • Work closely with strategic and analytical teams to ensure creative aligns with performance goals.

Cross-Functional Creative Collaboration

  • Partner with copywriters, brand strategists, and ecommerce specialists to create unified creative systems across ads and landing pages.
  • Ensure visual storytelling and messaging remain consistent across every touchpoint in the customer journey.

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years in ecommerce creative strategy, performance-driven design, or UX/UI.
  • Portfolio showing high-performing ad creatives and conversion-focused ecommerce web design.
  • Proven experience using creative to improve ROAS, CVR, AOV, or similar performance metrics.
  • High proficiency in Figma and ecommerce UX/UI design principles.
  • Experience with heatmaps and behavioral analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and persuasive design for ads and landing experiences.
  • Ability to turn performance data into actionable creative decisions.
